1. Agreement to Terms

By enrolling in a course provided by Southwell Solar Training (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not proceed with the enrollment or use of our services.

2. Course Enrollment and Eligibility

Our courses are designed for professionals within the solar industry, particularly electricians and installers seeking to fulfill their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements as outlined by the SAA.

There are no specific prerequisites for enrollment; however, the courses are tailored for those with industry experience. By enrolling, you affirm that the course is appropriate for your professional development.

3. License to Access Materials

Upon enrollment, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the course materials for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may download one copy of any materials provided for personal use only. The following actions are prohibited:

Modifying or copying any course materials.

Using materials for commercial purposes, public display, or teaching outside the context of your own learning.

Attempting to decompile or reverse-engineer any course software.

Removing copyright or other proprietary notices from any materials.Transferring course materials to another person or mirroring materials on another server.

This license will terminate if you breach these restrictions and may be terminated by us at any time.

4. Refund Policy

You are entitled to a full refund if you have not commenced the course. Once you begin accessing course materials or any part of the course, refunds are no longer available.

5. Course Duration and Completion

You must complete your course within 12 months from the date of enrollment. If you fail to complete the course within this time frame, your access will expire, and you will not be entitled to a refund.

Extensions may be granted on a case-by-case basis, subject to approval by our team.

6. Certification and CPD Points

We do not guarantee that you will pass the course or receive certification. However, we provide comprehensive resources to help you succeed. To earn CPD points, you must pass the course quiz, which is governed by the SAA standards.

The number of questions in the quiz and the passing criteria are determined by the course content and SAA regulations.

You will receive a Southwell Solar certificate upon successful completion of the course, including the respective CPD points.

7. Support and Contact

Our support team is available to assist you during business hours via email or phone. If you encounter issues or need clarification on course content, we encourage you to reach out.

8. Course Cancellation and Postponement

You have one year to complete your course. If unforeseen circumstances arise and you need to postpone your course, you may contact our team to discuss potential solutions.

Postponement is subject to approval and may incur additional fees in certain cases.

9. Non-Transferability

Enrollment in Southwell Solar Training courses is strictly personal and cannot be transferred to another individual. Reselling or gifting course access is not permitted. Additionally, once a course is commenced, no changes or rescheduling to another individual are allowed.

10. Intellectual Property Rights

All course content, including but not limited to videos, quizzes, presentations, and downloadable materials, remains the intellectual property of Southwell Solar Training or its licensors.

Unauthorized reproduction, redistribution, or public display of any course materials is strictly prohibited.

11. Technology Requirements

Our courses are accessible via both desktop and mobile devices. For optimal performance, we recommend using a laptop or desktop computer with the latest version of Google Chrome. While mobile access is available, some course elements may be more challenging to navigate on smaller screens.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The materials provided in our courses are for educational purposes only and are provided "as is" without any guarantees or warranties. Southwell Solar Training does not make any representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the materials.

We disclaim all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

13. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Southwell Solar Training be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from the use of the course materials.

Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the course. Some jurisdictions may not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

15. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for all course purchases. If you decide to cancel your enrollment and have not started the course, you are eligible for a full refund, provided the request is made within 30 days of purchase.
