Labelling a Grid Connected Solar Installation
Labelling is the part of a solar install that most often gets a system sent back, and it’s almost always avoidable. This course takes you through every label the standards require, where it goes, and how to make it last.
A solar system can be installed perfectly and still fail its inspection on labelling. The requirements are spread across AS/NZS 5033 and AS/NZS 4777.1, they changed in 2021 and again in 2024, and cheap labels that fade or fall off in the weather are treated exactly the same as missing ones.
This course puts the whole picture together: the labels required at the inverter, the switchboard and on the roof, the correct wording and colours, where each one has to be positioned, and how to choose products that survive outdoors.
