AS/NZS 5139 and AS/NZS 4777.1 between them ask for a lot of labels on a battery system — and inspectors see them missing, wrong or in the wrong spot every week. This course shows you exactly what’s required, including systems with backup supply modes.

A missing or incorrect label won’t stop a battery working, but it will stop an inspection. Labelling failures are among the most frequent defects on battery installations, partly because the requirements are spread across two standards and partly because the situational labels — backup circuits, alternative supply, hazard points — are easy to overlook.
